When the sins of a Brother
Led the soldiers to the garden
Where Jesus was praying
To His father that night
He prayed Father if there’s another way
Take this cup from me
From the darkness around him
He could hear His father cry
If there was any other way
Than to face the cross alone
I would send down every angel
To carry you back home
I’ve searched earth and heaven
For that perfect piece of clay
You’re the only one worthy
And there’s just no other way
God’s heart was breaking
As He heard from Calvary
Why am I forsaken?
God just turned away
At that very moment
When Jesus way dying
The Angels stood silent
As they heard the Father say
