Gardens Of Stone

Well, it was spring time in the garden

And it was dawning that day

And the stone on the tomb

Had just been rolled away

Mary came searching for Jesus

And found His body was gone

But a Lily was blooming

In a garden of stone

The Lily still blooms

In a garden of stone

It’s watered by grace

That flow from God’s throne

In the Valley of Death

Friend, you are never alone

Cause the Lily still blooms

In a garden of stone

When the grave claims somebody

That you have loved for so long

And you feel your heart is breaking

Still the Lord says, “Hold On”

For joy comes in knowing

That this seed that death has sown

Is waiting for harvest

In God’s garden of stone

The Lily still blooms

In a garden of stone

It’s watered by grace

That flow from God’s throne

In the Valley of Death

Friend, you are never alone

Cause the Lily still blooms

In a garden of stone

…He’s the Lily of the valley

He is the bright and morning Star

Oh, a Lily still blooms

In a Garden of stone

A Lily still blooms

In a Garden of stone

Oh, a Lily still blooms

In a Garden of stone
