I know what sadness is;

I’ve had my share.

I know what gladness is

cause I’ve been there.

I know the peace

and joy my God can bring.

Down on my knees

I’ve learned what really changes things.

The only way to God is earnest prayer.

Just breath that Holy Name and He’ll be there.

He knows the grief we bear

and knows our every need in prayer.
