Savior, Faithful, Friend
Looking back on my past I see
Just how good God has been to me
He has kept his word
And been faithful through it all
But I can’t say the same for me
There were times when my flesh was weak
But He was always there to catch me
Should I fall
He has been faithful and true
Oh, Jesus, I love you
No greater love to me
Has ever been shown
And He’ll be with me till the end
And when I grow tired
He’ll take my hand
I know Him as Savior, Faithful, my Friend
I used to think I was strong
When it came to living life
I held my own
But it all fell apart
Before I realized
Some times you can’t see what you got
Until you look up from flat on your back
And then it’s at that point
You see you thru God’s eyes
He has been faithful and true
